I received the news of Johnny Winters passing late last evening. Initially... I was shocked n saddened but then I began to reflect on how this Great Man had touched n affected Us all. Johnnys was the first Big Show I ever saw. Tarrant Co. Auditorium 1974. 10,000 seats n SOLD OUT!!! That show changed my life!!! Thank You, Johnny Winter for carrying the Blues tirelessly for over 50 years to Young n Old alike! You truly lived the life of a Bluesman. Muddy Waters called You His Son... Now THATS saying something... Well Done, My Brother... Yours was a Life Well Lived. We will surely miss You but We will NEVER FORGET YOU!
