I received this by email this morning. The City of Tulsa is offering to give you your credit score for free and is also holding a class regarding credit scores. CREDIT CLARITY SATURDAY The Alliance for Economic Inclusion For Northeastern Oklahoma presents the Credit Clarity Saturday. This event will assist participants in acquiring credit scores and learning the importance these credit scores are in purchasing homes. The Alliance of Economic Inclusion for Northeastern Oklahoma is an organization that has members from almost every banking group in the N/E part of Oklahoma and has the support of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The coalition is comprised of many partners representing the majority of the financial institutions in the N/E region of Oklahoma, community based organizations, small business support organizations, faith-based organizations, state and local government agencies, community stake holders and federal bank regulators. The Alliance of Economic Inclusion for Northeastern Oklahoma has several standing committees: Access, Financial Education Communication/Membership Small Business The City of Tulsa will be supporting the Credit Clarity Saturday event JUNE 15, 2013 by providing technical IT support to allow participants to print their credit information. It is noted in the flyer that the Event will be at Hicks Community Center, 3443 South Mingo, Tulsa. The event will start at 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
