I received this message via email... and asked to post it online. =)) Roy Juarez, Jr. came to Mansfield, Ohio on September 18m 2013, to speak to students in grades 7 thru 12 and staff, at Mansfield Sr. High School, and students, staff, residents and Community persons at the Harmony House Shelter. Roy did an excellent job in speaking about his life as a homeless teen, and the battles he fought to leave the streets, and graduate from Hardin Simmons University. At times, he shed tears as told about the pain and anguish he experienced growing up. He challenged all students to “never give up and never stop chasing your dreams”. Roy was an inspiration to all who heard him speak and bare his soul. Roy should be heard by all! Lowell Smith, Member Mansfield City Schools Board of Education
