I received this treasured present yesterday from my dear friend Denise, painted by her very talented husband John Geraghty. I was very fortunate to meet Denise, John and their family for the very first time nine years ago, when we embarked on our breast cancer journey together, and have remained soul mates ever since - weve shared many laughs, tears, happy and sad times and have supported each other through thick and thin....and have many treasured memories of our time spent together.. One of the most poignant things that we share together is the purchase of a rose between us, which we planted in the beautiful Brave Hearts Celebration Rose Garden at Sumsion Gardens in Wodonga, where our rose takes pride of place, standing on the corner overlooking the lake and protected by the beautiful handcrafted sculpture Isis - thank you both for this very special gift, which I will treasure with all my heart, as Denise quoted to me in my birthday card our friendship is everlasting, just like our rose growing in the garden
