I received this wonderful email from a retired minister who wishes to remain anonymous. I asked if I could share and he agreed. This is what makes what I have chosen as my current path so rewarding! Good afternoon, Joy! I was delighted to discover your inspirational website today. I am a 73-year-old retired Christian pastor. Since my retirement I have been doing a lot of reading about alternative spiritual paths, and I find that I have become strongly attracted to those paths which emphasize the intuitive spiritual gifts such as mediumship and shamanic healing. I guess that, like you, I became disillusioned. My disillusionment was with the denomination in which I ministered because they do not acknowledge the intuitive gifts. And I know that many Christians speak judgmentally about those who possess and exercise abilities like yours. I realize that those judgments are based on ignorance and I hope they can be forgiven. I am still a beginner in my understanding of your gifts. But I realize that even in my 70s I am not too old to learn and to grow. That is why I value websites like yours so highly. I learn so much from them. I am very happy to learn from your website that we are all born with gifts. What a wonderful thing to know.
