I recently attended the NYC show... Most of my friends didnt come due to the douche bagging comments here and elsewhere about how much this tour sucked. Im proud to say I went for the music. I lead by myself, never following what everyone else is doing. (But I do rock the yellow onesie.) I think its awesome polish is giving his fans a different food for thought and trying to make a difference. What hes doing is a choice and yes you can, but no you dont have to follow it! I went to the concert, they rocked the stage, I left. I drank a kombucha and didnt get high or drunk, wasnt listening to the ONE speech they did before the show started, nor was I looking at any of the permaculture display tables. So while it was deeply embedded, it didnt ruin my night having it there. I had an amazing night and went home happy.. I wasnt turned into a supporter of permaculture, some people did look very intrigued by the concept though. All in all Polish is NOT trying to convert us all into a giant permaculture cult like activist group. Its like fishing, Hes simply casting a lure, hoping to catch a few of us. For those that do, great. For those that dont, its still great. I dont see whats with all the hatred? His music hasnt changed. Until that happens youll always catch me right up in the front!
