I recently came across this link following some comments on a Facebook post about the Mars Curiosity Rover. Not surprisingly, appended to the article are many comments that have to do with, among other things, whether there is a God or not. What touches me are the comments that ask, in effect, If there is a God, why does not he [sic] have more concern about poor people? That is not so funny, nor so dumb as you might suppose. What is tragic is that the ones, lets assume perhaps victims of economic disparity, who ask that do not seem to realize that God does not run economic systems, at least not directly.
