I recently decided to stop eating beef, at the very least from fast food restaurants. A friend told me about a suspicious connection between mad cow disease and Alzheimers, and the fact that both diseases involve a certain protein. Alzheimers has been increasing dramatically as our consumption of beef rises. I wasnt really sold on not eating beef by those coincidences alone, but when I found out that your typical mcdonalds burger patty can contain up to 300 different cows, I was done. Theres way too much risk there. Just remember that a mcdouble costs just as much as a mcchicken, and theres no mad chicken disease! Personally Im terrified of alzheimers and diabetes so I may be the only person who cares.
