I recently finished reading the book "Home is a Roof Over a Pig" by Aminta Arrington. It is one of the best books I have read that relates to China. It is a book I can identify with because I lived with a Chinese family over a four year period and I also had the opportunity to visit a small village where no other American had gone. Because of a close contact I had in China I had the opportunity to not only visit the village but to stay at a home there because it was the home of my contacts father. Some things the author desired to experience I had an open door to and now I feel so privileged. But because of my great depth of experience in China I now miss it so deeply that I am no longer going back. I find that Aminta has some very interesting blog material. Since I have studied the problem of abandon girls in China this particular blog entry really griped my heart. I thought I would post this link on for those who are interested.
