I recently got a call from burberry; the British fashion brand , to do a collaboration with them on last weeks, London fashions week. Where i had to sing songs from my first EP. I said no to them at first, because in my mind i felt that as though Burberry is very well known and a successful british brand, i felt that that will surely deny me on being the artist who stays true, the artist who does his own thing; the independent; the peoples artist. Now I had read about him, but that proved nothing till i met him a few days ago. To me and your surprise, after meeting Christopher Bailey, the head of Burberry, a man who at a glance I thought might have been nothing but an aristocratic fool surprised me dearly with a warm welcome and shared a sense of passion for my art that surely, sincerity had done me in again. I guess the essence of art can easily be downseen when recognised by many, but the longevity of art only lays between pure and true. I am a man of my own wit, a man who relies on severe intuition, and if it wasnt for my pure gut feeling of saying what i have to say in the open, i am definitely sure that i wont be here with you all. Now i restate that, to you; some of you might certainly think i have crossed the line, and for that alone i owe you an apology, but i respect your perception. On the other hand, if you truly know where and how this journey begun, then you will know that we have won at least a handful of people on our side.
