I recently got a ticket... I have reviewed the HTA section 1.1 (4.25) and have discovered the following: 1. It does not specify wether Law Enforcement Officials can read plate, but only photo radar cameras can read the numbers and information. 2. I have taken a dozen photos with both my cheap iPhone camera, my daughters cheap point/shoot camera, and my cheap (but better than iPhone) DSLR camera. 3. It took the officer 27 minutes to find this HTA code in order to fine me and issue me the criminal charge. Here are a few photos from today, a gloomy day, a wet day, taken with both flash as well as with out flash from multiple angles. I have discovered that the plate is more visible through a photo than the naked eye. I further plan to fight this ticket based on many photos taken....simply because the wording in the HTA specifies photo radar cameras & equipment
