I recently got my OT License & now trying to find a suitable work opportunity. I am a foreign graduate & have work experience of few yrs but outside US. 1) Instead of applying to OT position, would it be better to look for volunteer\shadow work initially to get more confidence & feel around the OT process. Again, not sure where to find this sort of work ? 2) If I start to look for OT Job, any idea where I should be able to find less burden & more exposure job initially ( I mean which area of practice or type of setting I should search for ) ?. 3) What all things one should be careful about while starting OT career after getting license ( also with gap of few yrs). Just want to avoid any sort of liability issues while working ?. Is liability insurance worth taking ?
