I recently had a family member suffer from severe gallbladder pain due to gallstones. Below I was reminded of a treatment from the book Healing With Whole Foods. Please advice this should only be used on the care of a physician. Be sure to be monitored by your primary care physician if you are experiencing this kind of pain. Thousand of people have avoided Gallbladder surgery by doing the following: Gallbladder Flush: For 1 day only 1. Eat 5 Organic Apples throughout the day (Green are the best, avoid seeds) 2. Drink water, apple juice, and/or Chamomile tea throughout day 3. At bedtime, warm to body temperature 3/4 cup virgin olive oil and mix with 1/3 cup FRESH lemon juice. 4. Slowly sip the mixture entirely. 5. Immediately go to bed lying down on the RIGHT side with one leg curled up. AND/OR: Gallbladder Cleanse: 21 Days 1. Avoid: Saturated fats; Heavy meats, Dairy, Eggs etc. 2. Avoid Peanuts and only eat other nuts and seeds sparingly 3. Eat: a. unrefined grains b. fruits and vegetables c. legumes d. Pears, parsnips, seaweeds, lemons, limes, turmeric 4. Eat 1-2 radishes between meals each day 5. Drink 3-5 cups chamomile tea each day 6. Pour 5 teaspoons of fresh cold-pressed flax seed oil over at least 1 meal per day.
