I recently heard a very interesting story from Sweden. They run a waste to energy program and actually use this to generate electricity. In October 2012 they had a crisis. They had run out of garbage. Yes. You read it right. They had a garbage shortage so much so that they had to import garbage from neighboring countries. In fact, the neighboring countries paid them to remove their garbage. Now this represents two kinds of thinking. There is the level of thinking that sees garbage as a problem and spends millions setting up garbage disposal boards who try to figure out how to deal with the problem. Then there is another level of thinking that sees garbage as a blessing and can’t get enough of it.What do we learn from this? Faced with the same conditions and raw materials, what will differentiate us and determine our outcome is the processing power of our minds and not the conditions in which we find ourselves. Take time to seat back and ponder, How far,how wide and how deep are you thinking? You might be exporting the exact thing that you need to change your life. Freelancer.
