I recently learned something about FB... I already knew they used some kinda algorithm to decide what they THINK you want to see in your timeline. But for me, though they show stuff I like to see, they dont show ALL of what I want to see. Ive discovered that they show a small percentage of my friends, and skip 75% of the rest. Seems to be they show you what they think you want to see, and theyre correct in their assumption, so you like and share what you see, and FB is all Oh, we nailed it, give him MORE of that!. Problem though, is that you then miss getting stuff from most of your OTHER friends who you also want to see. So, do not always rely on your timeline to see what your friends are up to, cause if it works for you like it does for me, youll miss most of your friends stuff. The last couple days Ive been visiting friends pages, liking their stuff there, and BOOM - much more variety and a wider range of my friends showing up in my timeline already! :)
