I recently purchased online an ADATA 64gb Class 10 MicroSD card + USB microSD card reader + SD Card Adapter for $12.95USD. I received it a few days ago, and straight away copied 40+GB of data on to it. Laptop said 1 hour remaining, and around three hours later, I was able to eject the USB. Something fishy! So, I try using the files and more than half of the copied files wont work. I download an SD Card data verifier (SDSpeed, on the Mac). Approximately 16 hours later, it is still writing data to the card... around 25% was written to. Mind you, the first approximate 10-15% was written within an hour... or two, at max. I open up a dispute and demanded my money back, and the following was our dialogue: - - - - - - - Seller (S): Hi my friend, Thanks for your mail Really sorry for it.we have the same problem these days,the manufactory send to us by mistake,make our goods wrong,we had confrimed with the manufactory. It is our responsibility.so we have two suggestions: 1)If you like,we can refund $8 to you as compensation. 2)If not,we can full refund to you,and you need return back to us. Which one is ok for you? I dont want to lose my money to these swindlers. I have looked, and they still have the item up for sale, so it doesnt seem that they had made an honest mistake, rather a calculated one, i.e., lied about their product. I wish to give honest feedback, but positive at the same time (where I can). For example they were excellent communicators. I was happy with their turn around time for their responses... if only their product was as good. So, any ideas on how to diffuse this one, without being a sellout? Thanking you all in advance :)
