I recently read a quote from someone who said that the whole New Age Craze about eating healthy foods was absurd. He said that those who were spiritually inclined and focused on life beyond this physical one should have no real care for the physical body. Because whats the point? Our souls exist far beyond this body. I get why this person could think that, but heres why this philosophy is wrong: The physical body has EVERYTHING to do with how we experience spirituality in this life. All energies must first pass through our physical bodies in order to change us -- the energy of love, the energy of joy, the energy of fear, the energy of negativity. The body filters it ALL. With a fine-tuned and healthy body, one that is hydrated and nourished enough to run ascended energy, we have the absolute potential to go higher, deeper, and experience the energy of Source more expansively. When the body is mired down, heavy laden, out of alignment and unhealthy, the energies become muted, distorted, stuck, and sometimes even misused. Because the interface -- which again is the body -- is not optimally running. In fact it is struggling to make contact. It is highly important to take care of the physical body. To get enough water every single day, to eat your greens and your fruits and all plants, to bless your food and bless your body. When the body is in fine-tunement it clicks in with spirit and mind to create a synergy that can transform your life (this event upon achieving this synergy can be likened to the activation of the Merkaba). If you are someone who feels mired down, stuck, overwhelmed and out of alignment, DO something about your body. Take care of it; give it what it needs.
