I recently read a story about a woman that was physically abused by her husband for 6 years and her reason for never seeking help or change was, Hes my soul mate. Now heres where I lose some friends, but so be it. If you honestly believe in a soul mate then you probably also believe in unicorns, Santa Clause and fairy tale endings. My point is this, if the person youre with treats you like shit, get a better one. Again, theres 6 billion people on the planet, if you think God intended you to be with one sorry piece of crap who doesnt respect you, why should anyone else? The truth of life is that no one is going to pull you out of a bad situation, except yourself. Guys if youre with a girl that sleeps around on you, but you keep hanging in there cause maybe shell see how much you love her - Im sorry to say it, but you now have earned what youre getting. It happens to pretty much all of us, but once you see whats happening to you, and you continue to accept it - thats what you get. I know some people will read this and say, He doesnt understand, hes not educated like me in this area, well if being educated means youve experienced it and continued to live with it, hoping the situation will resolve itself, youre right, and I dont want to be that person - youre coming off pathetic, and youre on your way to becoming a career victim. Save yourself, quit waiting...and another thing, praying alone wont change anything, God only helps those that try to help themselves. Strength counts.
