I recently saw a post by a former coworker stating that the Latte Salute, as annoying and disrespectful as it may be, is a distraction from real issues like why the president hasnt secured the borders and prevented terrorists and thousands of illegals from entering the country, or why there hasnt been a commission to address the increasing suicide rate of our vets, or why the problems in the VA havent been handled. All of these are great questions and I agree that the salute is a distraction and another petty knit-pick in what has been a generally unproductive presidency. However, I too have an issue from which everyone has been distracted: Why hasnt Congress taken the initiative to do any of those things either? There are 535 other people that continue to be just as unproductive as the POTUS but they continue to cash checks and get away with it. Mid-term elections are coming...choose wisely.
