I recently started on the works of H.P. Lovecraft. It is much different than what the internet would have me believe so far and that is a very good thing. Lovecraft has an excellent way of turning a sentence into punctuation. Example: -He describes the stars in the sky in his typical prolix prosing and ends on the Pole Star and how it resembles an eye staring at him. Regarding the sky: Sometimes, when it is cloudy, I can sleep. It really clinches the paragraph because it lacks any ostentation thus contrasting the rest of his thoughts and adding in an entire layer of subtext about how stars are driving him insane without having to say that stars are driving him insane.
