I recently strained some muscles warming up for a run & decided to aqua jog (once again) as part of my recovery program. Problem was, we had so many cool nights the water was chilling. As I worked up the courage to “take the plunge” & get into the frigid waters, I really had to “suck it up”, slide into the pool and within about 30 secs all was good & I completed the workout. I thought how very often we decide the challenge is just too hard & we opt out thinking another time will work better; it’s too scary, too intimidating, we decide we just can’t handle it right now... IF ONLY we’d take the plunge & commit to 30 secs... we might be surprised what we’re capable of. Consider taking that plunge and starting somewhere.. there’s a first step in everyone’s journey! :)
