I recently visited Paris, And a beautiful building called les Invalids , Napoleons tomb is there also a museum dedicated to WW1 and WW2 . News reel from the periods were shown , I did notice that there was genuine Hatred for Winston Churchill and there was a caricature of him half man half pig shaking hands with Rudolph Hess. There was no mention of Britains participation on D Day, Very Sad, Also no mention of what has to be one of the RAFs most successful raids in there history, When a lone Fighter bomber in broad daylight flying at roof top height down the Champs Elyses attacked the Gestapo Building and Dropped two tricolours on the Art De Triumph and Gestapo HQ . The story is enclosed, Why a film has never been made surprises me you are looking at sheer courage , You would think the French government would recognise there bravery in the form of a medal but no, There story has been airbrushed from history
