I recently was incarcerated. I was struggling with dealing with life in prison and knowing that I was getting out. A friend let me use his radio and while I was searching through the various stations I came upon K-LOVE. The music just hit me so deep in my heart and soul. I was at a point where I didnt want to live. I lost everything I own and I am eating in soup kitchens just to eat each day. The thoughts of how I used to have a home and family were driving me to just want to give up on life. I was sitting at a food shelter trying to keep people from seeing me cry. A girl came up and gave me an old Sony Walkman. She told me that God told her to give it to me. We sat there and she listened to me as I cried. She told me that God loved me and that He is there for me. I am still eating at soup kitchens, but as I sit here listening to K-LOVE, I know that I am not alone anymore. -Joseph S.
