I recently watched Canadian director Denis Villeneuves new film The Enemy. The director who was responsible for the critical acclaimed Incendies and one of my favourite movies last year Prisioners, which I felt had the same feeling as the movie Se7en. The Enemy was a decent indie psychological thriller starring Jake Gyllenhall - which is his second movie collaboration with Villeneuve If you are familiar with downtown Toronto and Mississauga, then you will probably know each location they filmed in. I have been in several of the apartment buildings that they shot throughout the film. I really enjoy the A-Listers that are starting to star in Canadian films where they dont pretend that it is US. I remembered walking by Gyllenhall during the making of this when I lived near the AGO.
