I recently watched a video that my spiritual father played for me and Tyler Perry was talking about his journey. What we see now is the success that was born out of TIMING, PERSISTENCE and SOWING OF SEEDS. Tyler has been planting seeds in his industry since 1992. He used to create shows for years and it would be the SAME PEOPLE everytime that came, and those were people he knew. It becomes hard to measure your progress when the same people are your audience and you even know them personally. The profound lessons I learned from his story are: KEEP PUTTING YOUR EGGS IN THAT ONE BASKET, REMAIN FOCUSED ON THAT ONE BASKET because eventually THE WEIGHT OF THOSE EGGS WILL BE SUFFICIENT to the point that you do feel that YOU ARE CARRYING SOMETHING. Stop trying to do too many things! Lastly: KEEP PLANTING THOSE SEEDS, thats all you can do. The One that PROVIDES THE SUNSHINE AND WATER will nourish them. God will ELEVATE YOU to your destiny through HIS GRACE.
