I recieved over 50 posts wishing me a happy 40th birthday and while its only Facebook I want each and every person to know that it touched me and I humbly thank you for taking time out of your life to wish me happy birthday. Ill tell you what Ive learned these first 40 1. You dont put God first you stand little chance of success in this life..religious...spiritual or whatever if you dont have something you revere more than yourself than your actions will be doomed! Period! 2. Friendships; even the longest and strongest end but dont take it negatively...every person has their season in your life and just like the seasons end so shall some relationships..its ok..dont look back at it with malice or grief...look back and thank God that you were provided the comfort of friendship for the time it lasted! 3. Save some money! 3(a.) save some more money 3(b.) save a little more money 4. Every man/woman needs 4 things God, a mentor, a trusted peer and a student! Stole this one from my brother Etien.. 5. Life is not hard or cruel or anything like that! Its your unrealistic expectations that make your life difficult! You want a Bentley than be prepared to sacrifice Bentley time out of your life! 6. Money is awesome but if I had the choice between a billion dollars and a billion hours; give me the hours!! 7. If you want that real woman your going to have to be a real man! 100 percent real..not 98 not 99 but 100 percent! You will receive the love you give! 8. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever stop learning! Education is the master key that can unlock any form of bondage be it physical, emotionally, financially; education is the key! 9. Your alive? Roof over your head? Food in your belly? Your doing just fine! 10. Lastly and coulda been number 2 or 3....This life we are living does not check your plan rather it has a plan for you. The path to the grave is not linear..there will be roadblock and detours for days...hold on because if its one thing I know for a fact...the sun will shine if there is a tomorrow!!!
