I reckon each and every one of us is nutrient deficient to some degree and heres a pretty good chart indicating the deficiencies, symptoms and sources of the nutrient. Note the relationship between vitamin K2 and bone density and arterial calcification. Very interesting and just another reason we shouldnt go willy nilly supplementing with calcium (especially rock forms like calcium carbonate) just because we think it will help with osteoporosis. As usual within the human body, it is rarely ever a case of one nutrient stands alone in its role. Its a beautiful (and confusing!) thing!
