I recommend almuerzo at La Fontana. The flavors were better than other local lunch specials I have had here. I had mora juice, cream of broccoli soup, small green salad w/veggies, fries, rice and a delicate, tender chicken with a flavorful and interesting sauce, banana cake dessert....all for $3.50. Food presentation was lovely, plus charming atmosphere. The best part is that you can get this on weekdays (lunch and dinner, plus full menu) WHEN MOST ALL OTHER EXPAT FAVORITES ARE CLOSED.
