I recorded this in July of 2014, and although originally posting it to YouTube, later took it off. Deciding to head outside into the trees 2000 feet into a 2000 year old woods is often daft enough: That being stated, enjoyed it at the time, and as one video on here, shows. The extraction and later mastering of the audio is always a mission in itself: 1/. Wrath (Late Flowering Lust) An adaptation in part of the John Betjeman Poem. 2/. Standing On The Balcony. (Stripped down from the Mike Curley EP). 3/. Each Time. (Played in an alt-tuning with alternative verses to chew) 4/. No EZ Money. (I do an electro version of this with piano I need to finish off)..... 5/. Maybe.... All tracks as is with anything in terms of session by myself, and certainly outside, The lone individual counters as it comes. Sat on log with flies. And yet wanted to post it here for a simple good reasons of also offering it elsewhere: before I do. Id like to see a bigger Facebook crowd, so happy to keep working it into next year. 20 minutes all in, its not polished in the sense of how peoples minds have been altered to what most are now taking as examples of weekly TV: Rarely are those original songs. Its session, and in people stating I know, perhaps they dont, because Betjeman was Poet Laureate: Therefore finished it as is. And dont believe anyone ever did try that before. It always is fun to play it out with other tracks later on. It got the thumbs up from at least 2world class musicians, so always actually happy to go with that, its not as easy as you know: Especially outthere with the equipment, setting up in the woods. I recommend low bass monitor speakers preferably. Sony Monitors work well affordable and what the artists hears. Although I dont actually wear them playing live.
