I regret to say I must go to the DMV today. First I must go pay the SC taxes on the car on which I paid KY taxes a month ago. If I were just to take the first step, it would probably take less than 6 hours. I could get my drivers license at the same time. I dont need to take a test regarding SCs driving laws but need my birth certificate, marriage license from 1981, and court documents. The moral of this story is never, ever change your name. Pretty sure those legal documents are in file cabinet in carport; so the secondary moral is dont move.
