I rejoice, give thanks, praise, honor and glory to the LORD for HE alone has saved my soul. I was dead in trespasses and sin; I was on spiritual death row, there was no attorney that I could call that could beat the charges I faced, there was no Court of Appeal that could overturn the decision, I was guilty and faced the eternal justified wrath of Almighty God. But I heard the gospel preached one day and I heard about the cross of Calvary and how Jesus Christ paid the penalty for the remission of my sins. He paid it all with his shed blood. Because of his atonement I have received forgiveness of sins and eternal life. I am grateful even now for the privilege that I can shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace to share the glorious good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. How can I be ashamed of the gospel - how can ANYONE be ashamed of the gospel.. for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes!- William J. Altson Sr.
