I relish every bits of my visit to Vishakhapatnam except open defeacation in the beach. The most noticeable comforting factor was the pubic ways and manners. With even least provocative dress , women feels unsafe and discomfort in the streets of any Hindi belt states. Public gaze towards women is quite discomforting in Hindi belt states. Where as in South India, the atmosphere is more comforting for women. It is because, women are more qualified, holding powerful post , making decisions and policies in society. So there is less girl foetal foeticide, less male chauvinism , less crimes against women and less hungry male gaze. So when one walks down a lonely alley with family, is more at peace in South India than in Hindi belt states. No media propaganda can downsize this fact. You just push a lady into a crowded bus in Bihar or UP and in a South Indian state, the difference of result will tell all. To me this is ultimate development. That is why I support South Indian policy of segregating peoples from Hindi belt states. In Bengal, peoples from Hindi belt states increasing in menacing proportion. Didis aspiration to become national leader indulging into influx of peoples from Hindi belt states without much hue and cry. South Indian leaders donot compromise their regional interest against their national ambition. They hold their regional interest above all.This is their survival stategy and the secret of socio-cultural development.
