I remember 9/11 almost perfectly. I was in 3rd grade. All my teachers were panicked, I came home to a pacing father staring at the news with an anger I had never seen before. I had no idea the magnitude of what had happened. My brothers and I set up lemonade stands to raise money for the victims families as well as the soldiers who volunteered to fight. Little did we know that 13 years later, we would all be soldiers still in the same war. To all those, both military and civilian, who lost or gave their lives in this war on terror, we remember you today. May you rest peacefully knowing that we have pretty much eradicated those responsible, and may their families find peace.
