I remember I would come to SC from Miami for the summer and I would stay with my Aunt Natalee Mazyck, Anedra Shavon, Zyck Mazyck, and Bj Mazyck. It was that good ole country living, waking up to grandma Betty cooking in the kitchen, and granddaddy Joe out and about. I remember he took me and Anedra to sell some hogs, and I tell ya...it was an experience I will never forget! As I got older I would always run into grandaddy Joe, and I would ask him, Do you remember me? His response, I shol do. This would make me smile because he never forgot about me. Despite him not being my biological grandfather, I always felt like I was family because thats how he and his family treated me. Im going to miss that handsome ole man, rest on granddaddy Joe, and you will always hold a special place in my heart.
