I remember a story my mama once told me, It was a story to make me understand that I should love and treasure myself, and wish to be no one else but the best me. My mama Rosemond her name was, she was from Sierra Leone in Africa, where she grew up. She said that while at school when she was young, there was a girl who was so very beautiful, and all the girls wished that they looked like her, she said that even those who had boyfriends knew that this girl could have anyone of them if she wanted... but this beautiful girl, as amazing as she looked on the outside, she had an illness that no one knew of on the inside and she left this world very young. My mama said that when you wish to be someone else or wish to have what another has, you never know what they really have, and you may be the one who has it all and more. So love to be you... love your smile, love your laugh, reach for and love the best of you... because God waits for us all in hope that we find the gift within us... our true selves.
