I remember a stupid song by the Paul McCartney, Let It Be. Its a pretty melody but the lyrics are only believed by fools. When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comforts me. Really? I dont see that anywhere in the Bible so where does it come from. Some may presume that upon her from scripture, but there is no such comfort ascribed to Mary biblically. She has her special place in Gods heart, our hearts and history as the mother of Jesus but she has no place in bringing anything to us personally today. On the other hand, when we call upon Jesus, we engage the help of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. All three are able and offer helps and blessings beyond ANYTHING we can even begin to comprehend. Today I am thrilled to know that God has made such a multi-faceted provision for our lives.
