I remember a time like this, 3 years ago. The excitement and uncertainty. The sadness of leaving my loved ones overwhelming me. The adrenaline rushing through my body as the thought of being 30,000-35,000 ft above the ground hit me.Yes, three years ago, my family and I did the bravest thing. We left everything we had, everything we loved and everything we ever knew behind and moved to a place we didnt know. How crazy is that ? Kind of reminds me of Abraham...you know when God asked him to leave his home and go to an unknown place...yeah it takes a lot of courage to do that.. But looking back...Gods been faithful to us. I miss home like crazy, my family and friends in Kenya even more but moving to the US was definitely worth it. Gods love has been with us through out this whole journey. I have grown so much as a result of this experience and I wouldnt have it any other way. I have also had the opportunity to meet really amazing people here, some of whom have become family.Im thankful for each one of you that have made my stay in the US worthwhile. Thank you God. Thank you all ! Its been a great 3 years. Looking forward for more good years :) !
