I remember all the true love waits stuff at church, wondering about the possible consequences. I supported the kids that wanted to do it, but had major questions even then. This is obviously not everyones experience with the program, or type of program, but a hindsight look from one girls perspective. Personally, I identify wholly with this girls idea that the church is controlling I also believe it is manipulative and brainwashing to a certain extent - all in the name of doing the right think in the eyes of God. Im still hurt and healing from the wounds of the supposed church and reading this it brought it back up. Just thought Id share. Again, not everyones experience but I think this is an issue far more than not an issue.
