I remember as a child, being ashamed of my government. The Iranian Hostage Crisis came about because Americas presence in the world was so weakened by an extremely weak foreign policy. I havent felt that way since that time, until now. How disheartening is it that our government was asleep at the wheel in Benghazi? Not only were they asleep at the wheel, they have cowardly tried to hide the truth from the American people. Ive overlooked moral failures, political lies, and honest mistakes on the part of our leaders. Lying to us about our citizens being murdered is unacceptable. Christians, we must be praying for our leaders no matter what political affiliation you may have; pray for Godly leaders who want to please God more than they want to please themselves.
