I remember before I decided to start studying vet med, I took my best friend into the emergency vet in Milwaukee after a seizure. They took her without letting me come back and then came out 20 min later with a possible Cancer diagnosis and needed over $900.00!! When I got over my tearful shock I was level headed enough to order simple blood work, antibiotics and fluid under the skin, then took her to a vet the next day. Kidney failure, costing me about $200 and the vet let me take IV with me to bring her up to Sturgeon Bay so my son could say goodbye. Ive ALWAYS talked to people I trusted and did my own research and insist on being with my pets now. Lots of great Vets out there but some just dont get it.
