I remember going to San Francisco to see Dr. Martin Luther King - TopicsExpress

I remember going to San Francisco to see Dr. Martin Luther King speak out against the war in Vietnam. My best friend back then was Morris Samuel, whose father and mother marched with Dr. King in the south and went to jail for doing so. We went up to San Francisco together, I must have been 10 or 11 years old, but this experience moved me. I remember the speech was very similar, if not the same as this sermon he gave at a Baptist church. Listening to this on the 4th of July holiday seems like the perfect moment to listen once again to this great man who really knew what he was talking about. How would he react to the America weve become today? I wonder? The speech, worth a listen, people might learn something. youtube/watch?v=b80Bsw0UG-U
