I remember in high school we had a career fair, and my teachers - TopicsExpress

I remember in high school we had a career fair, and my teachers tried to kill me by giving me a budget of $1,000 a month. But they got a few things terribly, terribly wrong. 1. Musicians make a sight more than that (though nowhere close to being rich) because there are a plethora of jobs for the performing musician that harbors no delusions of being famous (particularly female musicians [I think it is because higher frequencies are much easier for our ears to hear, so we prefer them {to an extent}]). 2. Being that I have a chronic illness, all of that money would likely be gone within days without the option of supplemental assistance 3. There was no option for supplemental assistance. But I was quoted in the newspaper as saying my budgeting advice was "borrow from your friends." I laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed.
