I remember reading about when Freddie Mercury died and Elton John said he was sad to see his friend gone, but this is what happens when you screw everything in sight - not a direct quote mind you, but the idea is there. We are quick to point out, as human beings, when we do something wrong, what we should have done and oh, you were wrong. I shared that Jeramy got held-up at gun point in our home yesterday, just to let our friends know what happened and that he is okay. This lead to a string of responses of Im glad youre okay to Yay for not getting shot. It also lead to couldve, shouldve, wouldve responses during a time that - - well, just wasnt the right time. Please take this as a moment to think about how you respond in these situations. I have never been held up at gun point, so to tell someone that you should get that gun or Why didnt you check the doors and windows? or If it were me I would have gunned him down -- just a hint, not the time. Thank you to those who shared their blessings for Jeramys safety, thats what was suppose to happen. I was a finger twitch away from losing my husband. We will not be the same. So, please, feel free to share your ideas, but maybe, I dont know, wait a few days before feeling the need to share or express it. Not the day that someone could have gotten shot.
