I remember sitting in the doctors office talking to the surgeon about removing the gigantic mass on my thyroid about five years ago and he told me there was a chance I would never sing again. I was completely devastated!! My whole identity in Christ was wrapped up in worship! I didnt know how to have a relationship with The Lord without worship... If music isnt an intimate part of your world that may sound goofy. Then a woman came up to me at church that I didnt know very well and she said, Mary it just want you to know that I can feel God by just being around you!! That had huge revelation for me! My identity came from my close relationship with my FATHER.. My worship was just my outlet to share that love with the world!!! Thanking Him that Im still able to share that through my worship!!
