I remember some conversations that we had a couple times when you were trying to decide where you were gonna go in life. You were going to Lake-Sumter at the time and working at the pre-school at First Baptist in Leesburg. I guess you were taking a few health sciencey classes and you were debating the possibility of going into nursing. Being a lover of the medical field myself, youd think I wouldve egged you on, but something just didnt sit right with me. It was a decent, probably rewarding and reliable career choice.....but not for you I thought to myself as we talked. You said you were still thinking about it. We all know what you eventually decided. When I found out you were going to RSM, I was ecstatic. Such a perfect fit for you, we all knew you would grow leaps and bounds there. Most importantly you would learn to use that voice to proclaim the message Jesus placed deep in your spirit. I knew you were meant to lead. I knew you were meant to speak with passion, wisdom, and love. I thought it would be here with us, but turns out Jesus wanted you at his strategy table up there with Him. Wow. The depths of beauty you are seeing right now. Well Naynay, we know you are partnering with us as we contend still for our region, our beautiful sunny state, and our great country. There is much work to be done, and I know you will be helping us more there than here. You have stamped me Janay Douglas and I will never forget your life here. WELL DONE. Well done my dear.
