I remember the days of being a child as daddy & me fished the river banks of Bouge Chitto riding in his Chevrolet pickup truck & when the song was over he would mash that button on the 8 track player &we would listen to this song again . Let me tell you all something about my father Roger Rippy . He was a man with a heart of gold that was full of love & he was cautious of who he gave his love to . He never liked wasted time for he knew that his time was limited in every aspect in his life. & everything that he done was with love to give & to others , & that was exactly what he done for all the people that matter the most to him. Regardless if he was right or wrong , he never accepted denile in his life for he knew that we all are humans & everyone has had their share of mistakes in life . And thats the part of life . Then he was done with the person of held the dening heart . He gave his life & heart to me ,my brothers , Cindy Pate,& his siblings . And all he ever wanted back in return was to see all of us happy . Lost time was the cause of my fathers death , he felt that he needed to do more & give more to us & got involved in the wrong people that took him from the ones that he loved most just to only give his heart to us. I can almost understand my fathers pain & why he did the things he did ,but until the day comes that I have the lady thats willing to bare my children then I will totality understand my fathers heart. I love you Daddy & always will ,for i know that you done what you thought you needed to do to love all of us & make us happy. Just you & I daddy .I love you.
