I remember the exact moment I discovered Stu Nunnerys music. It was a Spring day in 1974. I was listening to a popular Dallas radio station. A song was playing I had never heard before.I was overcome with the beauty of the music and the depth of the lyrics that resonated with so much wisdom. The song touched my heart and soul. Who was this artist? I wondered. I found out it was Stu and immediately bought his album. I discovered his amazing talent and music that ranged from moody thought provoking themes to songs that bid me to kick up my heels and dance. And what an amazing voice! The musical arrangements were perfect. His songs stayed in my heart and mind for 40 years. During that time I searched for more of his recordings to no avail. By chance several months ago I googled my favorite, Madelaine. I discovered not only his fan face book page but also that he was continuing to write music. His story is as inspiring as his music. I am so thrilled to be a part of his incredible musical journey. This man is overflowing with talent and soul and I cant wait to fall in love all over again with his past recordings and be moved by his new music. I encourage all of you to do the same.
