I remember the late Senior Counsel Hon. Mutula Kilonzo then the Minister for Justice saying categorically that Uhuru and Ruto do not qualify to be leaders under the law of the land and instead dissuaded them from vying until they prove their innocence at the ICC. The duo ignored the advice and instead teamed up and used orthodox, clandestine and diabolic ways through the help of Kibaki (who apparently is the source of their predicament and loss of innocent lives in wake of post-election violence after he refused to accept defeat) They were deceived that, dont worry , ICC cases take centuries to be opened and at that time, you and witnesses will be long dead but hélas !, cases have started less than six months into their reign. Lobbying for suspension or deferral of the cases its proving to be a nightmare as they seek for immunity from toothless lords of impunity; the AU and some few remaining African dictators. Today, the pearl of Africa is a shame and is becoming a land of impunity as no one is talking about the victims of the horrendous events of 2007-08. Let me tell Uhuru and Ruto this for free, whether you are vindicated or not, Kenya will regret for having you as her sons.
