I remember this play. This is getting the ball out of the danger zone. Id blocked a shot, knocking the ball off to the left side of goal; followed after the ball and scooped it up. Then a forward arrived and challenged me shoulder-to-shoulder. I saw him coming, braced for impact, then spun off him. At that point I saw a teammate signaling for me, who had split off wide to give me someone open to pass to (good teamwork!) Which I did, with a one-handed stick pass. This picture seems to have been taken right about at the moment when I saw my open teammate; right as Im slipping away from the contact. The forward who had challenged me is now helpfully inspecting my back for ticks.
