I remember when I lived in Savannah, GA and would pay bills - TopicsExpress

I remember when I lived in Savannah, GA and would pay bills downtown. A elderly homeless lady was always down there in front of Subway. She was always humble. No one would help her or turn their nose up. When she asked Mr for a little change for a sandwich, I went beyond. No matter how she looked or dressed, I told her to get up and lets go in Subway and eat. I bought her a meal and an extra full meal to take for later and we sat and Talked. I didnt get into her business, I Genuinely wanted to know about whatever she wanted to talk about. Homeless people deserve compassion and help from time to time. Everyones mental and physical Do keep them disabled in a sense. She appreciated that and I hugged her despite the looks of some of the customers. The staff even started being compassionate to her and some of the customers came up to me in awe and thanked or congratulated me, but I didnt do it for looks or fame. I could be her one day, and all I thought about was, I hope if I do, someone would have compassion for me like this also.... 1 dont judge and think you are better, because you can lose it all too one day....mind,soul,$,material.....
